The precious years spent in school are an integral part of a child's intellectual, personal, psychological and social development. From the beginning of kindergarten through to graduation from high school, a comfortable and safe environment that is conducive to learning is critical in the educational support system. Likewise, the buildings in a K-12 school not only define it's identity, but are also integral to a student's overall learning and social experience.

We at Collegiate Schools strongly follow the guiding principles as mentioned below for us to lead to most important design elements for a learning environment:

  • Enhance teaching and learning and accommodate the needs of all learners and teachers.
  • Result from a planning/design process that involves all stakeholders - including the external community.
  • Provide highest standards for health, safety, and security, including protection against natural hazards.
  • Serve as the centre of the community and actively aid in community development.
  • Allow for flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the environment.
  • Make effective use of all available natural or man-made resources, including the use of "green" materials
  • Energy efficient, including the use of day lighting.
